Aurifil’s 100% Cotton 40wt/2ply thread is available in 270 Cotton colors and is wound on a green spool. Because of its slightly thicker weight, it is perfect for use with sewing bags, toys or dolls, garments, or when a more defined topstitching or quilting pattern is desired. It is also terrific for Single, Double or Triple Strand Cross Stitch, Hand Piecing, Bobbin and Machine Lace, Machine Applique, Machine Embroidery, Edge-to-Edge, Pantographs, and Custom Longarm Quilting.

"This store is so great! They have lots of beautiful fabrics in all styles and the staff is so friendly. I first visited in December while in town visiting my mil and it was my first stop on this visit because they’re just so welcoming. They have a decent selection of precuts scattered throughout the store as well as notions and patterns which are perfect to pick up as souvenirs each visit. As a younger quilter I am sometimes talked down to when I visit a quilt shop but the employees here are always so friendly and encouraging.
