At Patched Works, we’re more than a quilt shop. We’re a creative sanctuary where people come to slow down, play with color, and stitch a little peace into their lives. We’re looking for a Quiltie Sales Associate to join our warm, thoughtful team and help make every visit feel like coming home.
What You’ll Do
As a Quiltie Sales Associate, you’ll be a friendly guide—not a pushy salesperson. Your role includes:

Welcoming customers with genuine warmth and curiosity

Helping quilters choose fabrics, colors, and combinations with confidence

Cutting fabric accurately and thoughtfully (we’ll train you!)

Sharing ideas, encouragement, and gentle expertise
-
Keeping the shop beautiful, organized, and inspiring

Assisting with daily tasks like stocking, displays, and checkout
Think of it as being a creative companion at the cutting table—part listener, part problem-solver, part cheerleader.
Physical Requirements (Important to Know)
This is a hands-on, physical role. You should be comfortable with:

Standing for extended periods of time

Cutting fabric at the cutting table throughout your shift

Lifting and moving fabric bolts and boxes (typically up to 20–25 lbs)

Reaching, bending, and working with your hands throughout the day
If you enjoy staying active and working in a tactile, creative environment, this role is a great fit.

Retail experience is helpful, but not required—we care far more about heart, curiosity, and kindness.
